Mending the Hearts of Grieving Children & Families

Lost & Found Grief Center provides peer support groups to families in the Ozarks. If you are grieving the death of loved one, we are here to help. Having the courage to seek support is hard and we want to be here when you are ready. Though you may feel like no one understands what you are going through, there are other families in the area that can identify with your pain. At any given time we have approximately 150 – 200  individuals enrolled in group. Though each circumstance and experience is unique, there are common threads that connect them all.

Whether the death occurred because of an illness, accident, suicide, or murder – our staff and volunteers create a supportive environment where sharing feelings and concerns helps facilitate the healing process. Each group is lead by professional counselors and trained volunteer facilitators who are prepared to help our families work through the complex grieving process. Two types of groups are offered at our grief center. One type is for families. The other type is for adults.
