Volunteer
Become a Facilitator
Volunteers are needed to work in our grief groups. Facilitators assist the group coordinator with the night's activity and interact with the children or parents. This volunteer activity provides an opportunity for you to help mend the heart of grieving children and families. No prior counseling experience is required. Facilitators attend a professional training and make a one year commitment. After the training, you will be placed in a grief group that meets twice a month. Although more volunteers are needed in the children’s groups, we also need facilitators in the parent groups.

Become a Greeter
If you are interested in helping but can’t make the commitment for training and 6 hours every month, you can play an important role as a greeter by welcoming our families as they come through the doors for group and help them through the sign in process. We have open enrollment, so new families are joining on a weekly basis--seeing a friendly face as they walk in the door helps ease their nerves and makes them feel welcome. This is a 30-45 minute commitment twice a month. This is a great introduction to the wonderful families that come to Lost & Found. If you are interested in becoming a greeter, contact Ashlee Marsh at (417)865-9998 or e-mail amarsh@lostandfoundozarks.com.
