Volunteer

Lost & Found has plenty of ways to get involved as a partner in the office, at events, or in our groups. Whether you volunteer for a single event, help monthly, or commit to a year your gift of time will transform the lives of Lost & Found children and families. We cannot do it without you!

Please see below for more information regarding our volunteer opportunities.

Be a Greeter

You can still play a crucial role in the lives of our families if are unable to make the long term commitment for training and being in group twice a month. As a greeter you will be welcoming our families as they come through the doors for group. We have open enrollment at Lost & Found, so new families are joining on a weekly basis. Seeing your friendly face as they walk in will ease their nerves makes them feel welcome. This is a great introduction to the wonderful families that come to Lost & Found.

Become a Facilitator

Facilitators assist the group coordinator with the night’s activity and interact with the children or parents. This opportunity provides you with the chance to help mend the heart of grieving children and families. No prior counseling experienced is required for facilitators.

Requirements:

  • Attend professional training
  • Make one year commitment to being a facilitator
  • Able to be in group twice a month

Join an Event Committee

Each of our events are planned by our event coordinators and an amazing team of committee members. Our events would not be possible without the help of these volunteers. If you enjoy being a part of a team and would like to help plan, promote, and find sponsors for an upcoming event we would love to have you!
